Mozart's Così fan tutte ("Women are like that") is a blackly comic tale of a bet that gets out of hand. Abbas Kiarostami's production of Così fan tutte opened at Aix-en-Provence in France, and went on stage at the London Coliseum in 2009. It used filmed backdrops to evoke the period as much Shakespearean-esque dialogue and seduction ensues and things get tangled and tense.
